Fire and evacuation procedure
In the unlikely event the fire alarm should sound please be prepared to evacuate the building and leave the conference/banqueting suite by the nearest fire exit.
The assembly point is located on the higher level of the hotel car park at the back of the hotel. All fire exits are clearly marked in each function room. Should there be an evacuation the hotel staff will be present to advise and assist you.
Upon arrival at the event, the Organisers will review this infomation during your initial welcome.
Security
For the safety and security of guests the conference/banqueting rooms will be secured and locked when unattended for any period of time.
Please do not leave valuables i.e. laptops, briefcases unattended, as the hotel cannot accept responsibility for these items left in the hotel area.
Keys for the conference/banqueting suites are available for authorised guests from the reception desk and hotel will be happy to offer advice on security of high valued items.
Smoking
Smoking is not permitted within the hotel but you can do so outside. The designated smoking area is in the Lower Ground car park to the rear of the hotel.
Hotel environmental policies
Hilton Blackpool hotel won The Green Tourism Award 2005 for Environmental Policy Implementation. There are recycling bins for bottles and paper recycling points. All guest rooms and public areas use energy-saving lightbulbs. Guests are encouraged to use their towels again to save energy.
